Grow Your RV Tech Business with RV Roofing Solutions

Winter is training season at RV Roofing Solutions, and finding the right RV techs take time. We want people who stand behind their work and take the time to understand the craftsmanship behind an RV Roofing Solutions system. If that sounds like you, here’s why you might want to join us.

Why Join the Team

For stationary RV techs: We advertise for you, so you reach a broader audience and grow your client base. An install can take 3-5 days, which means you often meet not only your customer but their friends and neighbors too. More than 50% of the time, those neighbors are RV owners as well.

For nomadic RV techs: We look for teams who love to travel. We exhibit at shows and rallies all over the US, and if that interests you, there are additional opportunities to be part of them.

No RV Roofing Solutions specialist owns any one region. We want work to flow for both the customer and the technician. Every roof is quoted and booked through the team, so nothing falls through the cracks and every referral is credited to you. Each estimate goes through our CRM, which tracks your referrals and the number of roofs you personally bring in. Many of our technicians bring in RV roofs local to them and earn a referral bonus.

What We Expect

  • An RV tech background is preferred. You must be insured and have a valid business.
  • A solid work ethic. We’re not looking for the fastest method. We’re looking for a slow, steady application of our system.
  • A signed commitment from each installer to back their work. This helps us find the right people for the team.

What You Can Expect From Us

Products made in the USA.

In 2024, RV Roofing Solutions became veteran-owned, and we brought all of our products back inside the United States. Everything is sourced right here.

Pay that grows with your work.

We pay on a tier system, and every installer starts at a minimum of $1,272 per installation. That’s the floor, not the norm. Tier 3 installers average around $1,500 per install. After your first 10 installs, if the quality is good and there are no issues, moving up to Tier 2 is usually very easy. From there, the step to Tier 1 isn’t about speed, it’s about the quality of your work. Tier 1 installers average around $2,200 per install. Tier 1 technicians can also become trainers, who receive a training bonus on top of their install pay.

Support on every install.

Our team behind the scenes is there for every question and change order. We know that doing it right sometimes takes a second pair of eyes.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I still run my mobile business as an RV tech while I’m on an install?
Yes. The RV roof falls under RV Roofing Solutions, but the rest of the RV is fair game. Many of our technicians specialize in other things, like solar, and install a solar system while they’re on site for the roof. We also collaborate with other RV solar companies to make sure the result is a great one.

Do you schedule the install?
Yes, you schedule your own installs. We handle the initial coordination, then you take it from there, which leaves room for flexibility. Every install has a tentative date that goes on the company calendar, so we always know which technicians are on which install, wherever you are in the country. Some of our teams do one job a month, and others schedule two or more. There’s also a chaser bonus for anyone who wants to travel and earn a little more without compromising the quality of the install.

Is it hard work?
Yes. Long days and attention to detail are a big part of what we do, and we don’t compromise quality for speed. Our process for an RV Roofing Solutions system takes a minimum of 3 days in perfect weather. Additional repairs, weather delays or cooler temperatures can add more time.

When do I get paid?
After every installation, the technician submits an invoice and photos of the install. This documents the quality of the work and confirms that each step was completed. Paperwork and photos in by Saturday night are typically paid the following Friday. A standard install takes 100-130 photos, and more complicated jobs can take 200 or more, because we document every step as you complete it. There are several items we reimburse with receipt documentation.
